Data Universe enters the Macrocosmos: Subnet 13 joins the ecosystem
Training intelligence depends on drawing data from disparate sources and ensuring it's easily accessible and usable. That's why we're excited to announce that Macrocosmos is now operating SN13.

Our vision at Macrocosmos is to create world class intelligent systems based on Bittensor, and demonstrating the advantages of DeAI.
Subnet 13 is deeply aligned with this vision. Since its inception, SN13’s developers have imagined, designed, and refined this exceptional system, known as dataverse. That’s why we’re excited to announce that SN13 is now operated by Macrocosmos and incorporated into our subnet ecosystem. A huge thank you to all of the community who have contributed to SN13’s success, and for their ongoing support in taking it to the next level.
The data collected by this subnet is the very fuel that we need to build the next generation of AI. We’re committed to making the very best version of this subnet for miners, validators and end users. To kick off, we’ve added support for a new Apify to unblock the recent issues and re-open the subnet.
Built from the ground up, Data Universe collects and stores vast amounts of data from a diverse array of sources, so that other Subnets can easily access and deploy them. It’s robust, competitive, and highly scalable - and, with all of the data stored across the network’s Miners and capable of being queried by Validators, it’s an exemplar of Bittensor’s decentralized design and scaleable potential. It’s also a testament to the commitment of its community, who have actively led Subnet 13 from concept to its current position as a key performance enabler across the whole system.
We will be expanding this subnet in new and exciting ways in the coming weeks, starting with adding new data sources, providing a queryable API and creating an open source dataset. This will bring another important step of the end-to-end AI pipeline into Bittensor.
Data allows us to train, tune, and predict - which in turn enables open-source networks to train and deliver world-class intelligent systems. We’re proud of SN13’s achievements since launch - and we’re excited to take it further and reach its full potential.
